Is it normal for FNIS to not generate a meshes folder with all the behavior files and whatnot? One has to manually install FNIS by moving the apporite files from the main zip file to the correct directories under Skyrim. Net function that FNIS calls to read the animation files uses some obscure Windows function that Wine does not provide.

This allows you to redirect all relevant FNIS generated files into a folder outside Skyrim\Data (to support Vortex/MO profiles).

Generator not run from a Skyrim installation directory.> Warning: AnimationList found in "Animations\FNIS_PCEA2", but no corresponding Behavior file. This will create a new mod listing in the left pane for the FNIS generated files. Right-click Overwrite and select Create Mod, name it FNIS Output and click OK.
After closing FNIS, there will be files in Overwrite (essentially a fake mod located at the bottom of the left pane if sorted by priority ascending) created by FNIS.
